Â
Rebecca Lindert,
Rebecca is a young ag professional (and Future Cotton Leader Program Alumni), who has actively engaged in the cotton industry supply chain from working in research extension, to leading complex projects on her large family broadacre and cotton enterprise that span from field management to global market strategies as well as working directly with those in the cotton supply chain from "dirt to shirt". Which has led her to working with Agri-sector clients to further develop their business strategies.
Rebecca's hands-on experience as an agronomist and business manager, working closely with growers and stakeholders, equips her with a deep understanding of the dynamic relationship between advisors and growers. Her ability to communicate effectively, manage diverse teams, and implement strategic business solutions has been instrumental in bridging the gap between innovative agricultural research and practical, on-the-ground application. In advisory roles, Rebecca leverages this unique insight to foster productive collaborations, guiding clients through the complexities of modern agriculture with a focus on achieving sustainable growth and profitability. Her commitment to advancing the Agriculture industry, paired with her comprehensive approach to client engagement, positions her to help guide ag advisors and professionals through their journey of transformation to be a trusted advisor.
Amanda Burchmann,
Amanda is a senior professional with extensive experience in administration, business management, âmanaging the booksâ and operations.
Amanda has worked in various industries; including managing a âfranchisedâ pharmacy, as a paralegal, establishing a conveyancing business unit in a legal practice, and running her own business. Her role in ABDI, as Business Manager, is to manage procedures and policies, restructuring and fine-tuning financials, and developing ABDIâs business units. Amanda has strong attention to detail, and her strategic thinking combined with her skill in âmanaging operationsâ, means she brings these skills to working with ABDI and its clients.

âABDI has provided Matt and myself with an insight into how a mainstream business is run and how we can implement these strategies into running our agri-business. We now know the important part of our business to work on and have left today with a clear view on our vision.â
Meriel Chamberlin
Founder Full Circle Fibres
What truly sets Rebecca apart is her expertise in establishing and collaborating to develop direct linkages with brand owners. Her ability to understand the unique requirements of different brands, beyond the bale; and to incorporate them into the production process has led to the creation of high-value textile products that meet the exacting standards, and preferred fibre sourcing targets of brand owners. This experience positions them perfectly to undertake the proposed feasibility study, ensuring that all aspects of the cotton spinning mill align with the expectations of potential brand partners.
Michael McMahon - Abbotsleigh CitrusÂ
The face-to-face meetings have been excellent â as I can interact with other like-minded people in agriculture who face similar challenges. The program is thought provoking and has delivered clear key take-home messages that I can and have put into action â and I can see will make a huge difference to our future. Thanks Gordon! .
